An immortal war has been brewing in the darkness . . . And now one woman has stumbled into the shadows.

Chicago private investigator Kira Graceling should have just kept on walking. But her sense of duty refused to let her ignore the moans of pain coming from inside a warehouse just before dawn. Suddenly she finds herself in a world she’s only imagined in her worst nightmares.

At the center is Mencheres, a breathtaking Master vampire who thought he’d seen it all. Then Kira appears, this fearless, beautiful . . . human who braved death to rescue him. Though he burns for her, keeping Kira in his world means risking her life. Yet sending her away is unthinkable.

But with danger closing in, Mencheres must choose either the woman he craves, or embracing the darkest magic to defeat an enemy bent on his eternal destruction.

so I just finished At Grave’s End! It’s amazing!! Should I go read the 4th book, or read the spin-offs before that?

  2. MissVain says:

Oh you must read the fourth book Ning!!;) The fourth book is my favorite book in the series!!! These spin-off books are written between books 4&5. And this book is the 2nd book in the spin-off series.

So when you read these 2 spin-off books make sure it’s after book #4 of Cat & Bones so don’t get any spoilers!:)

  3. I finished this in one night maybe a month ago and really loved it. Frost really has a gift for writing romance and Mencheres, as scary as he is, is an excellent hero.
Thanks for the heads up, I’ll let my co-blogger know about the offer.

  4. Ooh, I love Mencheres, this is such a good book! At this price it’s definitely a steal for those who haven’t read it yet.

I always did like Mencheres but after reading EKoD it sealed the deal for me! I totally bought it on kindle just cuz of its awesomness! Even though I already have it on paperback;)

Thank you so much for posting this!!! I love a deal almost as much as I love a good vampire book!
