Character Battle: Pick two characters from a book and let them fight and chose the winner?

My choices for tonight in a match up would be Merritt from Chicagoland Vampires series and Cat Russell from Night Huntress series!

Merritt is Bad-Ass Katana wielding Vampire that I wouldn’t want to meet in a dark alley. Made a Vampire against her will she has paved her way and become Sentinel of Cadogen House of Vampires. As Cadogen Sentinel she guards the House and protects the housed Vampires against the threat of final death by sword. Her Master of Cadogen house Ethan has made her strong, cunning and fierce. I love Merritt!!

Then we have Cat Russell feisty red headed born half Vampire, made into a full Vampire by choice. She’s so awesome!! She can absorb other Vampires skills by drinking their blood since she’s the only Vampire in the Night Huntress world that need Vampire blood to survive rather than human blood. Thanks to her husband Bones blood she can read minds, her husband Bones Master Mencheres she can have Telekinesis power if she chooses with his blood, and since she has Kick-Ass Vampire for a best friend if she drinks his blood she can shoot fire from her hands. I love Cat!

I love both characters and if they were in a cage fight this would be one excruciating show down I would love to see, as long as neither died. I feel a bit mischievous for putting two of my favorite heroines up against each other because they’re BOTH Kick-Ass and  have ruthless skills in a battle at their disposal but I would have to put my money on Cat Russell!

Cat Russell Winner by a margin!!

What about you??  Which two characters would you choose in a battle and who would you pick to win? I would love to know your choices, leave me a comment  Happy Friday! ♥

I agree that Cat would win! She was a vampire hunter and an ass-kicker before she became a vampire! She should mentor Merit!!! ;)

I went with Chess and Cady!

  2. Those are two excellent choices Miss V! Naturally, I would have picked the same character to win.

    Happy FF!

  3. Amber Hughes says:

Oh man! You picked two of my favorite female Vamps! I would go with Cat too, but damn girl, that would be a battle! :-)

  4. haha! Vampire against Vampire! ;) )
I honestly don’t know who I would choose for the winner of this one, I’d have to read the books all over again! Haha!

Then again I may choose Cat b/c she was half vampire before she became a full vampire and is a bit stronger and different from other vampires. ;) )

  5. Oh yeah, Cat is for sure going to win in this match-up. Great battle opponents. :)

  6. Nice choices. It would be hard to pick the winner.

I decided to go with two characters I’ve never answered this type of question with before.

Love it! I always wanted to see Bones and Eric in a fight. Preferably sweaty and ripping each others clothes off… ;) But I think Bones would win that one. He knows how to fight really dirty. Even though Eric is much older… Hmmm… Bones…

  12. How did I forget about Merit? I love both of these series and have Cat in my battle. Great choice!

I’m currently in one of my “read 400 UF novels in two days” moods, and your description of Merritt just killed me. Need to read it NOW! Question, though. Goodreads says they are Young Adult.. That’s not true, right? O.O

How fun!! I love it when you pit your fav’s against each other, but then don’t want them to actually hurt each other. I mean, that would be horrible!! I did that, too. Love your picks.

  16. Great answer!

Thanks for stopping by and following! I followed back!

  17. Excellent match-up! What an awesome fight that would be!

I think I would put Faythe up against Elena. Werecat vs. Werewolf ;)

    • MissVain says:

Oh Cat my #1 fan :) That would be a Kick-Ass fight!!!! Although I only know Faythe, but think if Elena was out of theoicturebyan untimely death then you could have Clay all to yourself!! Hehe

  18. Vanessa says:

Let me start by saying that I LOVE your blog design! :)

I haven’t read both books so I don’t know who will actually win for me. But thanks for sharing this. New follower via linky and this is my very first Feature and Follow. :)
