Q: BeefcakeandBabes Asks: I like unique names for characters and am looking forward to coming up with some when I start writing. What’s the most unique character name you’ve come across?

Well my most unique character name I’ve come across would have to be the leader of my fictional male harem Bones & my second in command Terrible. I love these characters so much! Bones (The Night Huntress series) is a fiercely loyal, former hit-man, powerful sexy and protective Vampire, whereas Terrible (Downside Ghosts series) Is a walking piece of a man. He’s a drug pusher, with a Down Speak language all of his own, and he’s a strong force to be reckoned with.

What’s your most unique character name you’ve come across?

  6. Alexa says:

Oh I love Bones and I’m starting to have a special place in my heart for Terrible, if only I had time to read the second book to the Downside series. I would also go with any of the brothers from JR Ward since she spices up the names with the extra letters. :) Although the only letter that matters to me is V, as you well know :)

    • MissVain says:

Oh I love Bones, and I hope you really start to love Terrible :) But if you don’t it’s all good, because there’s more for me and I didn’t do well with sharing!;) lol.

Oh every JR Ward brother has weird names!! Oh you and Vishous! Lol:)Give me Zsadist!! Hehe!!

  7. Great choices. Terrible might be a common word, but I doubt we’ll ever read about another character with that same name.

  8. Debdatta says:

I can’t help but think of these characters as children…can you imagine a little “Terrible” running around with that name on a backpack? Introducing themselves to their teacher? “Hello, Miss Smith, I’m terrible.”
